U.S. official to brief Macau on frozen North Korea funds

HONG KONG (Reuters) - A senior U.S. Treasury official is in Hong Kong and Macau to brief authorities now the department is ready to "begin taking steps" to end the dispute over frozen North Korean funds, a U.S. consulate spokesman said on Monday. 

A delegation led by Daniel Glaser, deputy assistant secretary for terrorism financing and financial crimes, was making stops in both Chinese territories to discuss the Banco Delta Asia (BDA) funds, the spokesman said, but declined to give details.
