GENEVA (Reuters) - Three United Nations human rights envoys appealed to Iran on Wednesday not to execute seven men convicted of trying to overthrow the government because their trial was "grossly unfair."
The men, members of the Ahwazi Arab ethnic minority, are among a group of 10 sentenced to death for plotting to destabilise the country, sabotage oil installations and bring down the government. The three others were executed in December.
