MOGADISHU (Reuters) - Al Qaeda's deputy leader urged Somali Islamists in a purported audio tape on Friday to launch an Iraq-style guerrilla campaign of suicide and other attacks against Ethiopian forces in Somalia.
The Islamists were forced into hiding after being routed from their strongholds by Ethiopian military defending Somalia's interim government in two weeks of full-scale warfare.
