DHAKA (Reuters) - A transport blockade shut down Bangladesh's main cities and seaports on Sunday as a 14-party alliance stepped up its campaign to force removal of controversial election officials ahead of polls in January.
Protesters trying to enforce the indefinite shutdown set fire to a bus in the capital Dhaka and stoned several other vehicles, witnesses said.
