YANGON (Reuters) - Myanmar's military junta arrested three leaders of a 1988 student uprising on Wednesday, the 18th anniversary of the founding of Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi's opposition party, colleagues said.
Police picked up Min Ko Naing, Ko Ko Gyi and Htay Kway from their homes in Yangon shortly after dawn and took them to the Home (Interior) Ministry compound in the former Burma's main city, one opposition source said.
