LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - California's deadly heat wave has eased after more than two consecutive weeks of triple-digit temperatures across much of the state, the National Weather Service said on Saturday.
A high-pressure system that had been parked over the western United States has started to move eastward, making room for cooler ocean air, according to the agency.
