BEIRUT (Reuters) - Israel struck Hizbollah targets and devastated an array of Lebanese civilian installations on Friday, drawing mounting world criticism of its tactics since Shi'ite fighters seized two of its soldiers and killed eight.
But the White House said U.S. President George W. Bush would not press Israel to halt its military operation.
