BERLIN (Reuters) - A major exhibition of German history opened on Friday in a bid to give a new sense of identity to a nation scarred by four decades of Cold War division and the legacy of the Nazis.
"German History in Images and Testimonials from Two Millennia" is a permanent exhibition in Berlin of 8,000 objects from battlefield relics to landmark documents and works of art.
