SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his father, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, have launched a defamation suit against the opposition Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) and its leaders, the SDP's lawyer said on Thursday.
The lawsuit against SDP secretary general Chee Soon Juan and the party's leadership comes as the wealthy city-state heads for a general election on May 6.
