BANGKOK (Reuters) - Early results showed a strong protest vote that could keep Thai premier Thaksin Shinawatra from claiming a decisive mandate and lead to constitutional crisis, after a snap poll on Sunday following weeks of unrest.
Refusing to recognise the election as legitimate, the opposition boycotted the polls, which Thaksin called three years early to counter the street campaign.
