DENPASAR, Indonesia (Reuters) - Indonesian prosecutors sought the death penalty on Tuesday for an Australian charged with heroin smuggling, the first capital punishment demand against nine Australians on trial in a high-profile case.
On Monday, the prosecution had shied away from seeking the death sentence and sought life in jail for another of the "Bali Nine", who were arrested on the resort island of Bali last April.
