BEIJING (Reuters) - Visiting U.S. President George W. Bush pressed President Hu Jintao on Sunday to rein in China's swelling trade surplus and push forward currency reform after calling for greater religious freedom.
China struck an optimistic tone for the meeting by agreeing to buy 70 737-type aircraft from Boeing Co. in a deal worth $4 billion.
