WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Tropical Storm Wilma is likely to become an intense hurricane as it strengthens in the Caribbean and heads toward the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida coast, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Tuesday.
In the most active storm season for decades, vicious hurricanes have already battered the U.S. Gulf coast, killing many and halting much of the United States' oil industry.
