KABUL (Reuters) - Democratic government in Afghanistan and a parliament after elections has changed the war on terrorism and there is less need for military action in the country, President Hamid Karzai said on Tuesday.
The focus in the war on terrorism should now be on tackling militants in their bases where they get their training, and on stopping their resources and funding, he said.
