KIEV (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko met parliamentary faction leaders on Friday, a day after sacking his government, and urged them to help stabilise the political situation and work with the future team.
"Nobody wants conflict and misunderstanding. If this happens, I am sure we should face things honestly and courageously and give an absolutely balanced and calm answer," he said in a statement on his Web site www.president.gov.ua.
