BEIJING (Reuters) - Japan and North Korea held rare bilateral talks in Beijing on Sunday but made no progress in resolving a bitter dispute over Pyongyang's abduction of Japanese citizens decades ago.
Their first full-fledged discussions in nine months took place shortly after marathon six-party negotiations on ending North Korea's nuclear weapons programmes went into recess.
