MANILA (Reuters) - Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has accepted she will be out of her job by mid-2006 if a shift to a parliamentary system goes smoothly, former president and key ally Fidel Ramos said on Friday.
Arroyo, facing an impeachment case over allegations of electoral fraud, has so far only called for changing the presidential system of government in general terms and has not said she would cut short her six-year term.
