MANILA (Reuters) - The political crisis in the Philippines looked set on Tuesday to grind on for months with an impeachment case against President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo entangled in Congress and as opposition emerged to her political reform plans.
A day after Arroyo called for a "great debate" on overhauling the dysfunctional political system, doubts were surfacing about whether the move was genuine or a diversionary tactic amid her worst political crisis.
