WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The majority of Americans say John Roberts should be confirmed to serve on the Supreme Court but want him to make his views on abortion clear before the Senate votes on his nomination, The Washington Post reported in its Saturday edition.
According to the Washington Post-ABC News poll, 59 percent of those surveyed said the Senate should confirm Roberts, while 23 percent said it should not. The remaining 18 percent expressed no opinion, according to the article posted on the paper's Web site.
