MANILA (Reuters) - Hundreds of protesters opposed to Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo stormed a government department in the capital on Friday, smashing windows and attacking guards before they left.
"They have peacefully dispersed," police Superintendent Raul Petrasanta told Reuters, adding a official talked to the protesters and set a formal meeting for a later date.
