MANILA (Reuters) - The Philippine opposition was on Thursday warming to the option of impeaching President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo a day after its biggest show of anger on the streets failed to dent her resolve not to quit.
The opposition, which is hounding Arroyo over allegations of electoral fraud and graft within her family, had dismissed Arroyo's urging for an impeachment in Congress as a "trap" because of her solid legislative majorities.
