PHNOM PENH (Reuters) - Cambodia's Siem Reap airport, gateway to the famed Angkor Wat temples, was closed on Wednesday after a Vietnam Airlines Airbus 320 slid off the runway and got stuck in the mud, officials said.
"It was raining very hard yesterday, and the tyres have become stuck," deputy airport director Mao Sopheap told Reuters by telephone from the northwestern tourist town.
