QuickCheck: Was a student injured in an attempt to enter his 5th floor apartment without a key?


BEING locked out of the house without having the key is something everyone has experienced before.

When a student found himself in the same situation recently, he decided to try to enter his fifth floor unit of an apartment in Putrajaya via the balcony. Unfortunately, he slipped, fell and was injured.

Did such an incident really happen?

Putrajaya police chief ACP A Asmadi Abdul Aziz that the incident occurred at the Melinjau Civil Servants' Housing Project in Precinct 11 at around 5.30pm on Sunday (May 12).

"The door was locked and the keys were with the victim's mother.

"The victim tried to gain access to the unit on the fifth floor via the balcony at the back but slipped and fell as it was raining heavily," he said in a statement.

Asmadi said the boy, who is the child of a police officer, was in stable condition but still under observation due to a head injury.
