Is it true that a man in Kuching helped thwart a snatch thief who tried to rob a woman?

Padawan acting police chief Deputy Supt Lim Jaw Shyong confirmed this, saying that the incident happened at 7.54am at Batu Kawa, Kuching on Tuesday (April 23).

He said that in the incident, a woman in her late 50s was walking alone when two men on a motorcycle attempted to snatch her handbag and added that the driver of a vehicle stopped to help the woman and managed to detain one of the suspects.
