It has been claimed online that the dead body of an Australian man was found at an Ampang condominium. Is this true?

An Australian man was found dead in a bloated condition at a condominium near Jalan Bemban, Ampang on Monday (March 18) night.

The Fire and Rescue Department's Kuala Lumpur Operations Centre said they received an emergency call at 12.19am and sent a team to open the door of the unit, which was locked.

Operations commander Mohd Fariszuan Jumaat added that the body of the 48-year-old man has been handed over to the police for further investigation, and the cause of death has yet to be determined.

The man's body was found after a complaint of a foul smell was made by residents of the condominium.
