AUTOMOBILES breaking down is one thing but for one to actually witness a car - often an asset requiring a large personal investment going up in flames would distress any car owner.
Recently, a video has gone viral showing a car believed to be a Mazda up in flames in front of a house in Taman Maluri, Jitra in Kedah.
Is this true?

A lady who owned the car has lodged a police report after witnessing her car up in flames which is seen parked in the compound of her home.
Meanwhile, the police alongside the Fire and Rescue Department rushed to the scene after receiving a report from the lady.
Preliminary investigation shows no elements of foul play.
At the moment, the cops are awaiting a final report from the Fire and Rescue team and should there be any element of foul play, the case will be investigated under Section 435 of the Penal Code for mischief by causing fire.
