QuickCheck: Was the body of a woman found near the Taman Sri Andalas LRT3 station?


RECENTLY, a claim was made online that a woman's body was found at a pedestrian walkway near the Taman Sri Andalas LRT3 station in Klang.

Is this true?

South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong confirmed this in a statement, saying that the body of the woman was found by a 53-year-old security guard who was on his rounds.

"The deceased is a 47-year-old woman with no permanent residence or occupation," ACP Cha said.

He added that no criminal elements were found in the death of the woman, and added that the case was being investigated as a sudden death.

"Anyone with information on the incident is advised to come to the nearest police station or to contact the South Klang district police headquarters at 03-3376 2222 to assist the investigation," he added.
