THEY say that with enough perseverance and ingenuity, anything can be an effective weapon. However, one ne'er-do-well in Klang took that saying a bit too literally as he allegedly used a can of insect repellent to hold up a convenience store.

The incident was reported to have happened at about noon on Wednesday (Nov 29) when four suspects entered a shop Kampung Johan Setia, Klang, said Klang South OCPD ACP Cha Hoong Foong in a statement.
"The four individuals pretended to be customers," he said.
"The robbers were armed with cans of mosquito repellent and made off with some cash and three donation boxes from the store," he said, adding that three of the suspects were arrested on Friday (Dec 1).
"The case is being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code," he said.
A video of the robbery has since gone viral.
