A VIDEO purporting to show a woman running amok at a hypermarket in Klang went viral on social media site X (formerly Twitter) recently.

The incident was only a minor commotion and not a case of anyone running amok, police said.
The North Klang district police headquarters said in a statement that the individual concerned was suspected to be of unsound mind.
"The incident occurred after the hypermarket security told the woman not to leave her children in the hypermarket when she was leaving," it said.
A police check found that a report was made by the Social Welfare Department at 9.13am on Monday (Aug 7) in Bandar Baru Klang.
"The individual and her two children were sent to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah for treatment as she was suspected to not be of sound mind.
"No personal documents were found on the individual.
"The case has been classified as RLA (refer to other agency), namely the Social Welfare Department.
"Any additional information on the matter can be channelled to the district police HQ or any nearby police station," it added.
