QuickCheck: Are restaurateurs forced to offer a 'Menu Rahmah'?


SINCE its launch, the "Menu Ramah" initiative has seen much success in helping those in need find something affordable to feed themselves with. However, the initiative has made one restaurateur go on social media with the claim that it had forced his small business to shutter as he could not cope with the losses. He said he found it unfair that the Government had forced restaurants to participate as small businesses such as his do not have the economy of scale to offer such low-priced meals.

So, is it true that all restaurants must offer a "Menu Rahmah"?
