A VIDEO has gone viral showing a luxury MPV being driven on the motorcycle lane of the Federal Highway in Kuala Lumpur?

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the incident occurred at 10.30pm on Saturday (March 4).
In the 25sec video that went viral on TikTok, a luxury MPV driver can be seen driving on the motorcycle lane of the Federal Highway in Kuala Lumpur.
"The video shows the MPV being driven in the motorcycle lane of the Federal Highway here towards Kuala Lumpur near Amcorp Mall," said ACP Fakhrudin in a statement on Sunday (March 5).
He added that an investigation paper had been opened after a report on the incident was made.
"The case is being investigated under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987," he said, adding that the owner or driver of the car was urged to step forward to assist the investigation.
"Witnesses who saw the incident can also come forward at the nearest police station or contact traffic investigation officer Insp Mohd Hafeez Faesal A Aziz at 011-3231 1232," he added.
