RECENTLY, a message went viral on Facebook warning teachers in PPP grades DGA6 and DGA29 (those with only certificates or diplomas) to release their position immediately or their service would not count upon retirement.

In a post on its official Facebook page, the Public Services Department (PSD) said that the viral message was false and that no such circular had been issued.
"If you are unsure, do not share," the PSD added in its post.
