Recently, a distressing viral video showed a distraught man sobbing after a botched attempt to rescue his son from a vicious crocodile attack.
He was also sighted sporting injuries from the encounter.

The two were rowing a boat in waters off the Lahad Datu Marine operations base in Sabah when the crocodile attacked them both on Dec 1 (Thursday).
According to reports, when the crocodile reared up to grab the boy, his father tried to fight it off and pull his young son out of its jaws.
“However, the man ended up with multiple bite wounds while the son was dragged underwater,” said Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue station chief Sumsoa Rashid.
According to the latest update on the Balai Bomba & Penyelamat Lahad Datu Facebook page, search and rescue efforts have been ongoing to locate the victim.
So far, there has been no sign of the young boy, and the operation will continue on Saturday (Dec 3) morning.
