Indonesia reports 479 new Covid-19 cases as new guidelines at working places are announced

JAKARTA: The Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases in Indonesia rose by 479 within one day to 22,750, with the death toll adding by 19 to 1,391, Achmad Yurianto, a Health Ministry official, said at a press conference on Monday (May 25).

Jakarta, home to some 10 million people, suffers the highest number of deaths totaling 501, followed by East Java 292, West Java 128, Central Java 70, Banten 66, South Sulawesi 66, South Kalimantan 61 and the rest recorded in other areas.
