Buddha’s birthday celebrations this year were a little bit more low key, as the world battles the Covid-19 pandemic.
A number of religious ceremonies have been put on hold, but Vu Chien Thang, head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, said Vietnam’s solidarity and consensus for all religions still shines through, despite the global spread of coronavirus.
