WHO congratulates Wuhan on clearing all Covid-19 cases

BEIJING/GENEVA: The World Health Organisation (WHO) on Saturday (May 2) welcomed the news that there are no more hospitalised Covid-19 (coronavirus) patients in Wuhan, China, praising its people's "tireless efforts" to combat the pandemic.

After more than three months of arduous fight, Wuhan, the central Chinese city once hardest hit by the coronavirus outbreak, cleared all Covid-19 cases in hospitals last week,
