BEIJING (Xinhua): The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector eased to 50.8 in April from 52 in March, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Thursday (April 29).
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction.
