HEILONGJIANG: Five large-sized trailers loaded with donations from Hanchuan city in Xiaogan, Central China’s Hubei province, arrived in Suifenhe city in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province recently.

Suifenhe, a county-level city with fewer than 70,000 residents, has become the frontline of the country’s defence against a surge in imported Covid-19 cases in recent days.More than 13,000 boxes of bread and other food donations with a total value of 800,000 yuan (RM493,910) will be distributed to frontline workers and the vulnerable. The Hanchuan municipal Party committee and municipal government have also donated 700,000 yuan (RM432,171) worth of medical anti-epidemic materials, showing the Hubei people’s gratitude for Heilongjiang’s earlier help.
