Over 2,000 sent to battle forest fire in China's Yunnan

KUNMING: Over 2,000 people have been sent to battle a fire that started Sunday and still ongoing in southwestern China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said on Tuesday (March 31).

The fire started at around 4.50pm. Sunday in Shangri-La economic development zone in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
