BANGKOK (Xinhua): The Thai government has no plans as yet to impose a curfew to curb the spread of Covid-19, but will strictly enforce restrictions on travel and gatherings as the state of emergency comes into effect after midnight on Wednesday (March 25), said Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam.
"However, the government will not rule out the possibility of a curfew being declared if the ongoing efforts to fight Covid-19 fails," warned Wissanu.
