YANGON: Myanmar's total border trade using Individual Trading Cards (ITC) exceeded 23 billion kyats (US$16mil) in the first five months of the present fiscal year (FY) 2019-2020 which started in October, according to figures released by the Ministry of Commerce on Sunday (March 15).
The ministry issued 43 individual trading cards from October to February this FY and export using ICT cards through border gates earned over 2 billion kyats (US$1.4mil) while its imports exceeded 20.9 billion kyats (US$15mil).
