IPL cricket matches postponed in India as Covid-19 fears hit home

NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday (March 13) postponed the scheduled Indian Premier League (IPL) matches until April 15 in wake of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak threat.

"The BCCI has decided to suspend IPL 2020 till 15th April 2020, as a precautionary measure against the ongoing Covid-19 situation," reads a statement issued by BCCI.
