BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Brunei's defense ministry on Friday (March 13) proposed a defence budget of 606 million Brunei dollars (US$432mil) in the fiscal year of 2020-2021, an increase of 0.27% from the previous fiscal year.
During the 16th Legislative Council (LegCo) session on Thursday, Haji Awang Halbi, the country's Second Minister of Defence reinforced that the three pillars of Brunei's defence were Deterrence and Response, Defence Diplomacy, and Holistic Defence in addressing the dynamic challenges.
