Brunei to discuss new fiscal budget at LegCo meeting

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Brunei will officially unveil the 16th Legislative Council (LegCo) meeting on Monday (March 7), with government budget, development plans on the table for discussion.

According to local daily the Borneo Bulletin on Friday, the annual parliamentary session is scheduled to be opened by the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and will focus on the deliberation and approval of the fiscal budget bill for the financial year 2020 to 2021 that will be in effect on April 1.
