MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN): Agents of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) has intercepted 242 foreign nationals at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) suspected of trying to enter the Philippines to work illegally.
The interception followed the relief of all BI heads at their NAIA posts by Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente in the wake of the alleged 'pastillas' scheme or the illegal escort service given to Chinese nationals who want to work at Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (Pogos).
