Vietnam's Bạc Liêu province to focus on development, says PM

HANOI, Feb 27 (VNS/ANN) — The Mekong Delta province of Bạc Liêu should focus on its “spearheads" and review the building of new-style rural areas to make it more people-oriented and develop well, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a working session in Hanoi with key leaders of the province, PM Phúc also stressed the province needs to develop quality rice strains and develop the agriculture model of the combination of intensive cultivation of rice and shrimp, which is its comparative advantage.
