Banks rethink operations to cope with Covid-19 in Asia

BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Global banks including UBS Group and Bank of America are broadening their contingency plans across Asia to ensure that they can keep trading and other operations running as the spread of Covid- 19 accelerates outside China.

Credit Suisse Group is also among lenders starting to implement alternative work arrangements in South Korea, adding Asia's fourth-largest economy to the list of areas where staffers are being moved into different offices.
