Over 26,000 participants put on a near-flawless performance for Brunei’s 36th National Day parade in the capital.
In line with tradition, the parade ceremony started with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah inspecting the guard of honour parade comprising personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Royal Brunei Police Force, and was followed by a march-past involving 160 contingents.
A total of 936 young participants staged a field performance, which showcased traditional and modern musical instruments to reflect the efforts of every generation in supporting the needs of national development, upholding independence, defending sovereignty and achieving the nation’s vision.
