MANILA: China has vowed to work closely with the Philippines in combating cyber-criminal activity arising from Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGOs), according to a statement issued by the Chinese Embassy in Manila on Sunday (Feb 23).
Expressing alarm over the increasing number of online gaming crimes, the embassy stressed the need to crack down on the increasing number of cyber-criminal activity related to online gaming such as kidnapping, illegal employment, extortion and money laundering.
