Staff at Phu Kradueng National Park in Loei province are working around the clock to build additional firebreaks to prevent the recurrence of bushfires as the dry season approaches.
Park officials told the press yesterday that although they had contained the bushfire that started on Sunday and damaged over 544ha of national park forests, they still needed to build additional firebreaks to prevent a recurrence of fires, which are more likely during the dry season.
